Summer Loving At The Belmond Mount Nelson Hotel’s Oasis Bistro & De Bos Handpicked Wines
SUMMERTIME lunches at the sunny Oasis Bistro have become even more of a spoil thanks to the current menu collaboration with De Bos Handpicked Wines. For every two full buffet lunches ordered, the restaurant’s sommelier will offer a complimentary bottle of De Bos Rosé ‘14 or Sauvignon Blanc ‘14, depending on guests’ preference and food choices.
The two wines are part of an elegant collection of Fairtrade offerings that hail from Wellington-based Bosman Family Vineyards’ renowned Walker Bay region property, De Bos. Known for showing off varietal quality, regional specific attributes and food-friendly characteristics, both the 47-varietal Rosé and the Sauvignon Blanc are ideal partners for the ever changing menu of Mediterranean-inspired delights on offer at the Oasis Bistro lunchtime buffet.
Devised by Chef Rudi Liebenberg and his enthusiastic team, every day sees the lunchtime buffet table laden with fresh, seasonal delights including a colourful array of inspired salads, platters of home-cured cold meats, a selection of imported and local cheeses, just-baked gourmet breads, fresh seafood and shellfish as well as a choice of a variety of mouth-watering hot dishes too. And of course no lunchtime Oasis Bistro buffet lunch is complete without a visit to the dessert table.
The Oasis Bistro terrace overlooks the hotel’s magnificent gardens and offers guests the perfect opportunity to forget about reality for an hour or two while settling into lunch and a chilled bottle of De Bos Handpicked Wine.
