South African artist F.A.B signs US deal, to work with Tiesto protege
PIYE Records is proud to announce that Fabriazo Langford popularly known as F.A.B has just landed an exclusive worldwide distribution and licensing deal with DJ Central Records for his hit dance single ‘The one I want’ to be released on Sony Music International.
This deal will see F.A.B working with some of the best in the world to create a remix for the hit dance single which is currently enjoying airplay in Australia, France, Germany, USA, New Zealand, Ireland, Switzerland, Spain and UK just to name a few. He will be working with super producers Damien Reilly and Noble Taylor who have over 20 million units sold worldwide, DJ and remixer John ‘Alkatraz’ Pirito who has been raised under the watchful eye of the great DJ and producer Tiesto, Tom Polce who is a charting and highly regarded mastering engineer and top Canadian rapper Joey Stylez who boasts over 10 million YouTube hits. The remix will be initially released to the USA and UK markets and clubs. Much thanks go out to Damien Reilly, CEO of Australian record label Blue Pie Records for believing in F.A.B and putting this deal together.
Raised in Booysens Park, Port Elizabeth and now based in Johannesburg, F.A.B is a very talented rapper, singer, tattoo artist and skateboarder among other things. His versatility allows him to create different kinds of music to cater to fans of different races and backgrounds that find his music appealing and enjoy his electric performances. F.A.B’s aim is to pave the way for other local artists to get international deals and exposure without necessarily having to relocate thus allowing them to continue to grow the local industry and create opportunities for other up and coming artists.
Locally F.A.B will be releasing two singles that are part of his album ‘Masterpiece’ which is just about completed. The first two singles ‘Ghetto’ produced by the talented Feleba ‘SK’ Zuma and ‘Now I understand’ produced by American producer Sinima have been receiving airplay and the videos will be debuting soon on Soweto TV, MTV Base, Channel O, Vuzu, Mzansi music and Trace just to name a few. ‘Ghetto’ is a club anthem set to keep you on your feet with your hands in the air while ‘Now I understand’ is a love story regarding lies and deceit.
F.A.B signed to PIYE Records at the end of 2012 and is managed by Johannesburg based powerhouse Quest Entertainment.
