Nashua offers live complimentary monitoring solutions to clients
Nashua Limited’s reputation for providing its customers with leading solutions and services has once again been firmly demonstrated, as the company has become the first organisation in South Africa to offer its clients complementary live monitoring of device systems through its product ProAct. Considered an innovative fleet management solution, ProAct assists companies to increase their office efficiency and productivity.
Nashua’s systems are integrated directly into its Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, Manager Account Structure Codes (MASC) systems, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, resulting in the provision of monitoring, management, service and supply services. These services offer real-time monitoring of printers and devices across a company’s fleet, and allows for critical status and condition information to be reported to Nashua’s technical data centres. ProAct collects data on an on-going basis, delivering statistics and analysis reports.
Nashua then uses these reports to ensure that its clients’ print infrastructure is efficiently managed, resulting in significantly enhanced performance levels. Nashua is also able to provide preventative maintenance to its clients through an adaptive service management feature. This includes proactively monitoring the devices of both of Nashua and other manufacturers or brands on a customer’s network, and pre-emptively managing elements such as toner supplies.
This assists in ensuring that the right supplies are delivered at the right time and that unnecessary wastage does not occur. Following the receipt of the desired reported data, Nashua’s staff is able to provide customers with educated and customised solutions. Security is also a critical element of ProAct, as the system features Secure Socket Layer security and advanced encryption.
