Premier brands formally associated with this ground-breaking event include global make-up company M.A.C cosmetics, international TV channel Fashion One TV, Cape Town Fashion Council, electronics manufacturing giant Hisense, professional hair styling brand GHD, and transportation network Uber.
As the leading name in professional cosmetics that rules runways, M.A.C is perfectly aligned with the world of fashion. The M.A.C Lounge, where guests will be shown the latest make-up trends, techniques and products, promises to be a highlight of the two day event.
Fashion One, the global, fashion-forward TV channel dedicated to fashion, entertainment and lifestyle, is the festival’s official television partner. Our business focuses on innovation and producing products that exceed our customers’ expectations. Locally, we are continually exposed to creative talent, and our relationship with the Mercedes Benz Bokeh Fashion Film Festival is a platform for us to showcase our advanced design and support of two thriving industries, namely fashion and film.”
Besides indulging in beautiful Fashion Films, visitors can shop at pop up stores from Cape Town Fashion Council designers. “The collaboration between film and fashion is a fantastic new platform for designers to showcase their collections. This is the new fashion week,” says Bryan Ramkilawan, Cape Town Fashion Council CEO. Members of the public are invited to come to the event and shop from 10am – 4pm on the Friday and Saturday.
